Alameda County Fair Has Its Own App

You’re at the county fair looking at bunnies, but what you really want to see are bovines. No more carrying around a brochure or looking for signs--just pull out your phone.

For the first time, the Alameda County Fair has an app with everything from maps and daily event schedules, to places to eat, horse racing information and general updates.

Popular app features include:

• Schedule – Allows app holders to plan their whole day at the Fair and see all of the attractions they are most interested in.

• Map – Helps visitors quickly and easily find their way around the grounds – helpful for locating everything from event and food vendor locations, to remembering where the car is parked.

• Camera – App camera features cool frames to enhance your Fair photos.

• Rockin’ Photo Hunt – Instagram photo hunt at the Fair - #rockinphotohunt.

• Discovery Quest – Fun, educational scavenger hunt for kids. Guides them to different locations and activities at the Fair to learn about science, mathematics and language arts.
