Earlier:
Bumble Bee Foods has announced a voluntary recall of Chunk Light tuna because a problem in the canning process leaves the product prone to contamination by spoilage organisms or pathogens, which could lead to life-threatening illness if consumed.
The canned tuna was not properly sterilized.
There have been no illnesses reported as a result of the problem.
