Dispose of Your Unwanted Meds at Piedmont PD Today

The Piedmont Police Department, along with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), is holding the 7th National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Emergency Operations Center conference room, just off the the lobby of Piedmont's Police Administration Building (PAB) at 403 Highland Ave.

This take-back event provides Piedmont residents with an opportunity to dispose of old prescriptions drugs, or ones no longer needed, with no questions asked.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day provides a safe, convenient, and ecologically responsible method of prescription drug disposal while also educating the public about the potential for abuse of medications.
