
OAKLAND, CA — A man who was fatally shot in East Oakland on Monday evening was identified by police today as 29-year-old Rashad Grayer of Oakland.
Grayer was shot in the 2700 block of 35th Avenue at 5:19 p.m. on Monday. He was then transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Several cars and a building were also hit by gunfire but no one else was injured.

Oakland police haven't released any information about a motive or suspects in the shooting.
