New Sprouts Farmers Market To Open In Area
Customer deals and freebies planned for the Jan. 13 grand opening on Broadway in Oakland.

Sprouts Farmers Market is openings its first store in Oakland. The new 26,000-square-foot store, which will be at 3001 Broadway, will be 14th Sprouts store in the Bay Area and focuses primarily on natural and organic foods.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is planned for 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan, 13, with specials for customers.

- Muffin and coffee samples to everyone in line before the doors open.
- The first 200 shoppers in line will receive 20 percent off their initial total purchase.
- Upon checkout, every 15th shopper will receive a coupon book featuring Sprouts savings.
- One dollar deals throughout the store.
- And every customer will receive one free reusable bag with purchase.
This new Sprouts will offer fresh produce, bulk foods, vitamins and supplements, packaged groceries, meat and seafood, deli, baked goods, dairy products, frozen foods, natural body care and household items, according to the company.

- Saturday, January 16 - The first 200 customers to make a purchase will receive a coupon booklet for five free sandwiches.
- Sunday, January 17 - Upon checkout, every 15th customer will receive a $5 coupon for a purchase of more than $15 the following week.
