OAKLAND, CA —A man who was fatally shot in East Oakland early Saturday morning has been identified by police as 40-year-old Chrystian Valdez Negrete of Oakland.
Police said Valdez Negrete was shot in the 4400 block of International Boulevard just before 2:15 a.m. Saturday.
Another man was also hit by gunfire but he's in stable condition and is expected to recover from his injuries, according to police.

No arrests have been made and police haven't released any suspect information.
