Oakland Pedestrian Killed Wednesday Identified
The crash happened near the Lake Merritt BART station.
OAKLAND, CA — An 83-year-old man killed in a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian Wednesday morning near the Lake Merritt BART station in Oakland has been identified as Feipeng Zheng, according to the Alameda County coroner's bureau.
Zheng died after a crash in the 1000 block of Madison Street, near 10th Street, reported at 10:11 a.m.
The victim was transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead, according to police. He was a resident of Oakland.
