OAKLAND, CA — A woman killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland on Sunday was identified today by the Alameda County coroner's bureau as 45-year-old Bertha Duran.

Duran, of Oakland, was apparently the victim of a medical emergency prior to the crash, California Highway Patrol spokesman Officer Sean Wilkenfeld said.

"The damage on the vehicle isn't consistent with a fatal collision," Wilkenfeld said.
