Pedestrian Killed on I-880 Identified

OAKLAND, CA - The Alameda County coroner has identified a pedestrian who died early Tuesday morning in a collision on northbound Interstate Highway 880 in Oakland as 46-year-old transient Jesse Thrower Jr.

The collision was first reported at 5:10 a.m. on northbound Highway 880 near the Market Street exit.

A cause of death has not been reported.
