Piedmont Explorers Attend Competition In Arizona

PIEDMONT, CA — The Piedmont Police Explorers attended the 21st Chandler Tactical Competition in Chandler, Arizona last month, Jan. 18 – 19. They competed in seven different scenarios active shooter and sniper challenge. The Piedmont Explorers took 5th place in the shoot-don’t-shoot event out of 62 explorer and cadet postscompeting from throughout the US.

According to a Facbook post from the Piedmont Police Department, "Our explorers were constantly praised for their enthusiasm, dedication, and team work by the evaluators."

About 900 explorers and cadets attended the Chandler event.
