What A Median Priced Home Looks Like In Piedmont

What would you say is the average home in Piedmont?

If you go by the median price, this could be it.

Last week, Data Quik released median prices for towns across the East Bay. The price included condominiums and townhouses as well as single-family homes.

In the Piedmont area, the median price was officially listed at $760,000. However, the price for single family homes generally runs higher.

A typical single family home would be this three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom house at 1071 Harvard Road. It's listed at $1.3 million.

The house, which was built in 1920, is 2,077 square feet and sits on a tenth of an acre.
