
The City of Pleasant Hill is offering a free workshop aimed at helping local business owners avoid "legal land mines."
The event takes place June 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Community Room at City Hall, and will cover topics such as topics such as employment practices liability, including insurance and new employment laws. The workshop will also give an overview of legal trends in California, Contra Costa County and the Superior Court.
Speakers include Jessica Braverman of the California Employment Law Training Center in Pleasant Hill and Mark Hinds, managing partner of Hindsight Insurance Services.
