Construction on Pleasant Hill Road To End May 31
The road is currently operating as a single lane during the day, with up to 10-minute delays as each direction waits to pass through.
Pleasant Hill Road will be free and clear of construction workers after May 31.
Crews are excavating and installing a new water main as part of the EBMUD Pipe Infrastructure Repair Project, with construction ongoing since June 2012.
The road is currently a one-way, single-lane system with construction workers directing traffic through from each direction from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Delays can reach up to 10 minutes at peak times.
