Contra Costa Water District Van Stolen in Pleasant Hill
Locals are being asked to keep a look out for the van, which could be used for additional crimes.

A van belonging to the Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) van was stolen in the Pleasant Hill area Monday night, according to district officials, and residents are being warned that the vehicle could be used to commit crimes.
"While CCWD vehicles are occasionally broken into, we rarely have a vehicle stolen," said Jennifer Allen, the director of public affairs for the Contra Costa Water District.
The van is a 2005 Ford E350 cargo van with a roof mounted ladder rack, license plate #1194488 and CCWD vehicle number 912.Â
CCWD says it has many service vehicles in the community, but anyone who sees this particular van should report it to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the appropriate local law enforcement, or CCWD at 925-688-8397. Â
