Information for the Pleasant Hill Community

Based on new social distancing recommendations issued by Contra Costa Health Services on March 10, 2020, to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our community, the following events are cancelled or postponed (please note that many of these events are hosted by agencies other than the City; we are posting this information here for the community’s convenience, but it’s wise to check the agency’s website or phone them directly as well):

Pleasant Hill Recreation and Park District is cancelling all District events with 50 or more participants through March 29. The following events are impacted: Battle of the Bands; Teen Job Fair; Senior events including Bingo, Tea Dances, Chef’s Luncheons, Friday Flik and the Senior day trip to Pulgas Water Temple and Filoli Estates. Pleasant Hill Library is cancelling story times and the Saturday Lego Clubs. Smaller gatherings will continue until further notice. To check on a specific event, call the library at 925-646-6434

City Council and Commission meetings will continue, as they are unlikely to involve more than 50 people.
