LIVE: Fate of 'Dome' Theater Decided

An appeal hearing to save the "dome" theater in Pleasant Hill from demolition started Monday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m. The meeting included three hours of public comments and ran until around 2:26 a.m. The council voted 3-2 to deny the appeal.
An earlier meeting to consider an appeal of the demolition permit resulted in the Building Board of Appeals denying the claim and upholding the demolition permit.
