The Pleasant Hill Library runs a monthly meet-up for locals to discuss literature old and new.
This month's book club takes place on Tuesday, July 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., when community members will discuss "Boomerang: Travels in the New Third World," by Michael Lewis.
The following book club is Virginia Woolf's "To the Light House" on Aug. 20.
