Pic of the Day: Theater Is Closed

The familiar black and red writing on the "dome" theater's luminous front are no longer advertising movies, but news that the "theater is closed." The lights are out and the CinéArts "dome" is just an empty shell.

But there is still a glimmer of hope, thanks to the "Save the Pleasant Hill Dome" group and their attorney. A final decision on the theater's fate will be made at the May 6 Pleasant Hill City Council meeting.
