The standings not withstanding, Oakland and the East Bay rank up near the top in Best Baseball Cities, according to a survey by Wallet Hub.
They didn’t just look at MLB cities. They also took into account access to college ball, cost of tickets, sports bars and more.
The results--the Oakland metro area ranks No. 9 out of 272.
