Police Search For Thieves Stealing From Vehicles With Open Windows
A pair of thieves are apparently cashing in on the hot weather by stealing valuables from vehicles with rolled down windows in the Pleasant Hill area.

It may be hot, but don't forget to roll up the car windows before you leave your vehicle parked in and around Pleasant Hill.
Two thieves have been caught on tape stealing goods through open vehicle windows. They have been seen at a number of spots around Pleasant Hill, according to a post on YouTube, including Discoveryland Preschool, Ross Dress For Less and the Rotten Robbie gas station.
The thieves appear to be a woman and a tall man, driving a silver older model Honda CRV, according to the YouTube post.Â
"They have gotten away with thousands of dollars in stolen property so far and have also used stolen credit cards at various stores," explains the description on the video posted July 4.Â
Any information about the open-window thieves should be directed to Officer Jeff Silva of the Pleasant Hill Police Department at (925) 288-4600.
