Power In Pleasant Hill Might Be Shut Off By PG&E On Saturday
The Pleasant Hill Police Dept. says that it has received word that there may be a Public Safety Power Shutoff on Saturday.
PLEASANT HILL, CA -- The Pleasant Hill Police Dept. says that it has received notice from Pacific Gas & Electric that power in the city could be shut off for public safety reasons on Saturday.
The notice comes in the midst of the ongoing Kincade Fire, which has burned about 22,000 acres and is only about five percent contained.
"We've received word that there may be a Public Safety Power Shutoff this Saturday. We will continue to monitor the situation and keep our community updated," the PHPD said in a statement.

Pleasant Hill Police also advised anyone who needs to update their contact information with PG&E to call the utility as 1-866-743-6589 during normal business hours.
