Record-Breaking Temperatures Heat Up Pleasant Hill
Saturday will be the hottest day, with temperatures expected to hit 97 degrees.
The week started as it meant to go on — with scorching sunshine and record-breaking temperatures.
Pleasant Hill is expected to swelter in the 90s all the way through Sunday. The peak of the heat will hit Saturday as temperatures rise to 97 degrees and stay up there through Sunday, dropping back into the high 80s on Sunday.
Next week is expected to cool off into the mid 80s.

The average temperature for this time of year is about 71 degrees, according to Wunderground.com. This time last year, temperatures were in the low 80s as April ended and dropped into the mid 60s in the first week of May.
