Third Thursday Concerts In The Plaza Start This Week

Cover2Cover, the Bay Area's "high energy dance band," returns to downtown Pleasant Hill Thursday to kick off a season of free monthly concerts in the Plaza.

Locals have danced the night away to Cover2Cover before, at the First Friday concerts last year and at the summer concerts by the lake. The band plays a variety of crowd-pleasing tunes from oldies like the Beatles and Tom Petty to modern pop like Katy Perry and Adele, led by singer Toni Bryant. Other members include Larry Hall (guitar), Jon Leonardy (bass), Rob Goldberg (keyboards), Dan Hertlein (drums), and Stephen Anthony Salcedo (congas/percussion).

The next show will be Fast Times — an '80s cover band — on July 18, followed by David Martin's House Party on August 15 and The Fundamentals on Sept. 19.
