Threats Investigated At Diablo Valley College, Campus Police Say

Contra Costa Community College District police are investigating the threats reportedly found in campus restrooms.

PLEASANT HILL, CA — There will be an increase in police presence at Diablo Valley College's main campus in Pleasant Hill Thursday after a "non-specific anonymous threat" was found in two restrooms on campus on Wednesday afternoon, campus officials said.

The Contra Costa Community College District Police are investigating the threat that was found as a form of graffiti in the men's restrooms in the humanities building and the library.

Campus officials said the campus will remain open Thursday and counselors will be available this and next week to students who experience increased anxiety.
