Traffic Alert: Lamkin Lane Closed

Undergrounding work on Buskirk Avenue has meant road closures in the area since May 6. This week, Lamkin Lane will be closed and drivers will have to take a detour.

Ghilotti Bros. Inc., and their undergrounding and electrical subcontractor Saint Francis Electric (SFE) are conducting joint trench work and constructing new temporary pavement sections through May 17. Typical construction work days and hours are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The temporary pavement sections will be used for rerouting traffic through the project site and around various areas that will be under construction for new Buskirk Avenue street alignment, according to the city.
