680 Breakfast Club

Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce members are invited to join a small group networking club and meet other business professionals on Wednesday, Aug. 14 from 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. Groups are small, allow one person per profession, and meet twice a month for six months. Plaza Concert Series

The free Third Thursday concert in downtown Pleasant Hill features David Martin's House Party, an eleven piece group with "a national reputation for their high energy performances, incredible musical variety, and 'anything can happen' hi-jinx." The show is Thursday, Aug. 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the plaza next to Jack's Restaurant and Bar. The Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce hosts wine tasting from 5:30 p.m.

Farmers' Markets

Find fresh and local produce at the Pleasant Hill farmers' markets at Pleasant Hill BART from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and in downtown Pleasant Hill from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

Sunset by the Lake Summer Concert

The high-energy dance band Cover2Cover performs a free concert on the lawn by Pleasant Hill City Hall Sunday, Aug. 18 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

Frank Sinatra Tribute

Carlton Senior Living’s Chateau III in Pleasant Hill is hosting a free musical celebration with Frank Sinatra impersonator Steve Swan on Sunday, August 18, at 2 p.m. The event takes place at 175 Cleaveland Road, south of Boyd Road. To RSVP, call (925) 935-1001.
