Increased Inventory Blamed For Tri-Valley's Flat Home Sales
July's numbers were part of figures released Wednesday by the Bay East Association of Realtors.
TRI-VALLEY, CA – More homes for sale throughout the Tri-Valley drove prices and closings down slightly in July, the only exception being Dublin, according to data released Wednesday by the Bay East Association of Realtors.
Compared to July 2018, inventory in San Ramon increased 60 percent with 120 homes on the market while sales prices dropped 2 percent.
Prices in Danville and Livermore dropped 4 percent, while Pleasanton prices were down 3 percent last month compared to the same time last year.

Home sales in the Tri-Valley were mixed in the July 2018 to 2019 comparison. Danville dropped 24 percent, Pleasanton 21 percent and San Ramon sales were down 13 percent. Livermore was up 2 percent.
Dublin was the outlier. While prices did dip a bit last month — 1 percent — sales were up 7 percent compared to the same time last year.
