Pleasanton Company Drops $29M On Local Shopping Center: Report
A retail center near Stoneridge Shopping Center will be bulldozed as a result of the recent deal, Bay Area News Group reported.
PLEASANTON, CA — Locally based 10x Genomics spent $29 million in an all-cash deal to purchase the shopping center at 1701 Springdale Ave., near Stoneridge Shopping Center, Bay Area News Group reported.
The company plans to level the shopping center to build three office buildings and a parking site, Bay Area News Group reported. The decision comes after vacancies in the shopping center and amid a period of growth for 10x Genomics, the news outlet reported.
10x Genomics is currently located nearby at 6230 Stoneridge Mall Road.
