Ramona Library Seeks Volunteers for English as Second Language Tutors

If you are looking for a way to make a difference in your community, volunteer to become an English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor.

If you can speak English you can make a difference in someone’s life; no previous experience is necessary. Attend two free training sessions offered by the Laubach Literacy Council of San Diego County.

After training, get matched with adult learner(s) to tutor for two hours weekly at the Ramona Branch Library or at any other San Diego County Library at a convenient time for you.

The next tutor training is scheduled for two consecutive Saturdays, June 22 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Poway Branch Library Community Room, 13137 Poway Road in Poway.
