"Do Not Install Smart Water Meter" Sign
Have you called or written Ramona's water district to opt-out from their new "smart" water meters? Here is a sign to remind installers.
Opting out of Ramona Municipal Water District "smart meters"? Have you notified RMWD by phone and/or in writing that you want their free opt-out? Be sure to document your opt-out request in writing.
To prevent accidental installations (which have nearly occurred for at least one opt-out customer), this will help. Here is a sign to print, fold in half, and place in a large, water-tight zip-lock baggie on top of the analog (existing) water meter, inside the water meter box.
These types of signs have been used by tens of thousands of utility customers all over North America to help prevent installation of smart meters.
