A mostly level trail at Barnett Ranch Preserve, off San Vicente Road at Deviney Lane.
Meet in the parking area. Walk to the end of the paved road or adjacent trail until it veers to the left onto Rattlesnake Trail.
This is a loop trail among old oak trees. A leisurely walk will take about an hour to get back to the parking area. Half-way on the hike the terrain goes up in elevation just a bit and offers a panoramic view, then we come back down again.
