Isolated gusts up to 25 to 35 mph can still be expected in Santa Ysabel, Wynola and other eastern portions of San Diego county.

Update: The National Weather Service in San Diego on Wednesday canceled the Red Flag Warning for San Diego county.

The cancellation was made at about 10 a.m., after updated weather information showed winds would not be as high as earlier predicted, a spokesperson told Patch. The warning had originally been in effect for all inland valleys and mountains in the county.

CalFire reported that it brought in an extra air tanker at Ramona Airport for what had been expected to be a 24-hour period of increased fire risk beginning late Wednesday afternoon.
