Free Dogs (and Love), Rotary Club Meeting and Basketball Sign-Ups
Here are 5 things Ramonans should know about today in town.

Rotary Club of Ramona
- Are you a member of the Rotary Club of Ramona or looking to join? Club meeting will meet at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Ramona Valley Grill.
- Before the craziness of school starts, sign up your kid for youth basketball. Boys and girls in grades 3-8 can shuffle across the court in various leagues. Registration is at the Ramona Boys and Girls club Monday through Friday from 12-6 p.m.
- Registration packets can be picked up for students attending Olive Peirce Middle School this fall. Parents can stop by the school, located at 1521 Hanson Ln. from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. any day this week through Friday.
- A resident is fostering two pure-bred giant schnauzers, one male and female. They are looking to give them away for free, so long as the home is loving and caring. Looking to add to your family? Licks and unconditional love come free!
- The Ramona Municipal Water District Board of Directors meets today at 2 p.m. in the Ramona Community Center, located at 434 Aqua Lane. Find the agenda by clicking the link above.
