Gas Leak Leaves Residents in the Cold
Ramona Terrace Estates residents will be without heat for three to four days while a leak in a propane tank is repaired.

Residents of Ramona Terrace Estates mobile home park will be without heat for a few days due to a leak in the park’s large propane tank, according to Cal Fire officials.
No injuries were reported, but nine residents were evacuated, according to 10News.com. Olive Pierce Middle School has been opened to residents while crews repair the leak. Temperatures in Ramona dropped below 30 degrees Saturday morning, and the forecast predicts temperatures in the low 40s Sunday morning.
“The emergency threat has been mitigated at the scene and contractors are responding to repair the gas lines,” Cal Fire Capt. Mohler told East County Magazine.
