RAMONA, CA — Gusty winds are expected this week in San Diego County, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a wind advisory for parts of the region, including Ramona.
The NWS issued a wind advisory from 10 a.m. Tuesday through noon Thursday in the county's mountains and valleys.
Winds will move at speeds between 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph expected, according to the NWS. Local gusts up to 70 mph are possible in wind prone areas. The strongest wind gusts are expected Wednesday morning.

"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects," weather officials warned. "Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result."
Conditions will also be hazardous for high-profile vehicles. Weather officials advised motorists to use "extra caution" when driving.
