Issue: Have Activists Made a Case for Impeaching President Obama?

If you can’t beat him, impeach him. Local Tea Party and other activists are gaining visibility in their efforts to remove President Obama from office—alleging a variety of offenses. Their latest in a series of demonstrations was Saturday on the Tamarack Avenue overpass of Interstate 5 in Carlsbad, where their signs led to slowing and backed up traffic.

Do these folks have a case?  Has the 44th president committed high crimes and misdemeanors? Or are “Impeach Obama” gestures merely high sport for a conservative fringe? Share your thoughts in the comments.
