At Least 1 Person Dies In Multi-Vehicle Crash In Ramona

RAMONA, CA — At least one person died in a multi-vehicle crash in Ramona Sunday — the second deadly crash of the day in the city.

The crash happened just after 5 p.m. at the intersection of Slaughterhouse Road and state Route 78, also known as Old Julian Highway, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The crash shut down the intersection and a SigAlert was issued by the CHP.

There was no information immediately available regarding the age and gender of the victim.

The victim's name was withheld pending family notification.
