Library Activities and Community Workshop Reminder

Family Storytime and Craft

• Attention families, head to the library for an afternoon of family fun. Enjoy Family Storytime and Craft at 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 at the Ramona Library. 

• Ramona Unified School District will host a Community Workshop on long-term fiscal planning. The meeting will discuss financial outlook, various options and more. Community Workshop will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 at Olive Peirce Middle School Performing Arts Center. 

• According to Friends of Ramona Unified Schools ( FORUS), the group has collected $6300 for 31 vandal proof stainless steal dispensers for the district. Have some money to donate to the cause? Click the link above to find out how.

• After the Friends of Ramona Unified Schools raises enough money for all the soap dispensers, they'll move on to the next project. Have an idea of something the school district could use (defibrillators? A/C?). Leave a suggestion in the comments!

• Youth soccer registration has kicked off, as the season begins Oct. 5. Registration runs through September. Click on the link above to see sign-up dates and locations for Ramona.
