Man Arrested In Connection With Deadly Ramona Shooting
A man was arrested and booked on suspicion of murder in connection with a fatal shooting in Ramona.

RAMONA, CA — A 32-year-old man was arrested Monday and booked on suspicion of murder in connection with a fatal shooting hours earlier in Ramona, according to the Sheriff's Department.
Elias Ruiz booked into the Central Jail at 11:40 a.m., according to Lt. Thomas Seiver and jail records.
The shooting happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Main Street near Seventh Street, Seiver said.

The male victim, whose name and age were not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
Sheriff's investigators did not provide a motive or say how they linked Ruiz to the shooting.
