Motorcycle Crash Stops Traffic on State Route 78
The motorcyclist injured an ankle in the crash near Guejito Truck Trail.

A motorcyclist was inured in a crash on state Route 78 northwest of Ramona just before noon on Saturday, according to the Highway Patrol.
A 22-year-old male was riding in a group westbound when he hit a rock and crashed, according to San Diego police. The rider suffered an open fracture to his left ankle and a fractured neck, according to police.

A SigAlert was issued around 1 p.m. as authorities investigated the accident that occurred just west of Guejito Truck Trail. Westbound traffic on Route 78 was diverted at Haverford Road, according to a Highway Patrol dispatcher. The roadway has been re-opened and the SigAlert has been cancelled.
