[Updated] Ramonan Ran at Boston Marathon, Site of Fatal Explosions, Many Injuries

Steven Tally was listed as having finished the race and according to friends and his Facebook page, he is safe.

Steven Tally of Ramona took part in the Boston Marathon on Monday, finishing before explosions claimed the lives of three people and injured more than 100 near the finish line.

A friend said the following was posted on Tally's Facebook page: "For those watching the news. We are OK. I was through the finish and a block away."

According to the Boston Athletic Association site, this Ramona entrant had finished about an hour before the blasts, which TV showed happened about four hours after the start.

These marks are “gun times,” but not the actual times from start to finish, since many thousands of entrants don’t reach the starting line until minutes after the gun goes off.

Another friend of Tally's, Tanja Overdevest, also said the runner was safe Monday afternoon via Ramona Patch's Facebook page.
