Ramona Water District Sets Public Hearing for Fire Mitigation Fee
Residents interested in speaking about the topic can attend the Aug. 13 meeting or file a written protest with the administrative services department of the district

A public hearing has been set by the Ramona Municipal Water District to hear objections or protests to the Fire Mitigation Fee Multi-Year Facilities and Equipment plant.
The meeting, which will be held on Aug. 13 at 2 p.m. in the Ramona Community Center (434 Aqua Lane), will discuss the adoption of a resolution for the fee and plan.
The fee is estimated to generate annual revenues of $35,000 for the water district.
According to the district, copies of documents related to the fee and plan will be available for review at the district office, located at 105 Earlham Street in Ramona.
