San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob Starts Seventh Term Monday

Jacob represents District 2, which includes the community of Ramona.

SAN DIEGO COUNTY, CA – San Diego County Supervisor Dianne Jacob will be sworn in for her seventh term Monday at the Board Chambers in the San Diego County Administration Center.

Voters re-elected Jacob over challenger Rudy Reyes in June 2016 to represent District 2. The largest of the five, the district includes more than 50 communities, including Ramona, as well as the cities of El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Poway and Santee.

Jacob joined the San Diego County Board of Supervisors in 1993. Prior to her election to the board, she served as a teacher in East County and was a member of the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District Board for 17 years. She was also active in the California School Boards Association and served as its president in 1987.
