SoCal Cold Front Brings Freezing Temperatures To Ramona
The freeze warning means the cold conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation and could damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
RAMONA, CA — Sub-freezing temperatures are expected again Tuesday evening in the San Diego County deserts and valleys, including Ramona, according to the National Weather Service.
The agency issued a freeze warning that will remain in effect in the deserts and valleys until 9 a.m. Wednesday. Temperatures in those areas could drop as low as 25 degrees Tuesday evening through Wednesday morning, according to the NWS.
"Frost and freeze conditions will kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing," weather officials said.

People should wrap, drain or allow outdoor water pipes to drip slowly, according to the NWS. Those who have in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-ground pipes to protect them from freezing.
