There will be a total lunar eclipse this Saturday, April 4, but you’ll have to be outside before it starts--this will be the shortest eclipse of the century, lasting less than five minutes.
This is the third in a series of four total eclipses with no partial eclipses in between them, known as a tetrad. The remaining eclipse will be Sept. 28.
In North America, the eclipse will begin at 3:16 a.m. Pacific time. According to NASA, the totality of the eclipse will take place over the course of 4 minutes and 43 seconds.
