Vegetation Fire Erupts In Ramona

Fire officials reported the fire around 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

RAMONA, CA-- A three-acre vegetation fire erupted Saturday afternoon in Ramona. Cal Fire officials reported the fire around 3:30 p.m. near the 1600 block of Griffith Road.

By 4:12 p.m., officials said the forward rate of spread had stopped.

Firefighters are expected to remain on the scene through the evening.
