As high school graduation approaches (June 12), parents and family members are shuffling around town, picking up gifts for their grad. But if want to gift flowers, Sun Valley Florist owner Frankie Berkley Newberg says to do it now! The local florist said that each item is special order, including popular flower arrangements like leis and corsages. Wrap bouquets should also be ordered in advance. Newberg suggests a week to a week and a half in advance, since nothing is kept in stock. Orchid leis, which are double-strung, go for $35. Other arrangement prices vary.
