Ah, Ah, Ah, Ah, Stayin' Alive, Stayin' Alive -- CPR-- Save a Life

CPR -- 30 Pushes to 2 "Whooshes" and for Babies up to 12 months "30 Pushes to 2 Gentle "Puffs"

It's been years since I was certified in CPR and first aid. So, I decided it was time to renew my certification. I contacted the Red Cross website and arranged to attend a group session with Jenn Tyler of JTACPR.com right here in Rancho Bernardo.

I learned the "new and improved" method of CPR: 30 pushes on the heart, 2 whooshes of breath into the victim, keeping beat to the rendition of Stayin' Alive in my mind. We were also taught us how to use an AED as well as general first aid. Certification arrived in an email by day's end.
