The Rancho Bernardo Community Council and the Rancho Bernardo Recreation Council are in the process of seeking new members. Â
The Rancho Bernardo Community Council, which deals with all quality of life issues in the community, is an all volunteer, 20 member organization dealing with such issues such as maintaining our medians and welcome sign, public safety, government relations, utilities, traffic, code compliance, graffiti, and more.

Some adhoc committees have included initiation of the fire station renovation, utility box painting, battery recycling, water issues, high speed rail, community clean ups, and an annual sidewalk chalk event. Â
The Recreation Council is a nine member organization which advises and assists organizations which are located at the Community Park. It also plans, promotes, publicizes and provides park and recreational services and opportunities within the 40 acres of the community park.
