Save the date for the most exciting Safety Fair yet! Saturday, September 29, 10 a.m. through 12 p.m. at the Rancho Bernardo Community Park, 18448 West Bernardo Drive. There will be approximately 25 vendors, free finger printing for kids by RSVP, free CPR training (not certification), various police and fire department vehicles to explore, K-9 patrol demonstrations, opportunity drawing items, silent auction items, free face painting, free proper disposal of U.S. flags by the American Legion, and more!.To top this all off, immediately following the Safety Fair from 12:30 p.m. through 2:00 p.m., we will be holding the first annual First Responder’s Appreciation BBQ/picnic to help recognize all the wonderful fire fighters and police who serve and protect our community. People will have an opportunity to sit and chat with the first responders while enjoying a wonderful BBQ, play some games, enjoy music by Evolved Music Productions, and watch a San Diego Police K-9 unit demonstration. Proceeds from the event will be going towards the purchase of training devises which the San Diego Police K-9 Unit has requested of us.
